Connie's Seafood Restaurant And Oyster Bar

After so much steak and protein I decided to go try out a local favorite that serves up typical fried fish and chips. I was not disappointed. I started off with a michelada and was pleasantly surprised that they carried "Indio," which is rare. The drinks arrived quickly and so did the silverware and condiments. Within 15 minutes I had a hot plate of fried fish, fries, and a not to bad salad with dressing. The fries, by the way, were breaded and delicious. The salad was fresh and I finished the whole thing. The fish was not as crispy as I would have liked but it was cooked through and very light and tasty. This is the kind of place to go for lunch or after work. The prices are reasonable and the large tv's allow the local folks to enjoy futbol, astros games, and all other sports. I'll be going back soon...

Really like the food there! Especially the fried rice with mini shrimp! If I would make a recommendation, I would suggest that the waitresses and other help keep their visiting with each other at least to the minimum since they tend to get a little loud and since the restaurant is open the sound carried thru out at a disturbing sound and hard to keep a conversation at the table!

It's a tiny restaurant with great outdoor seating and a welcoming inside dining area. fantastic for small parties or pairs. Although the menu is small, the food is excellent. The dishes are unusual but absolutely tasty. This is the place for you if you love food or the ideal eating experience. The deviled eggs are a must-have first course!
