Is it the fanciest food? Obviously not. Are you still getting good food for a great price? Absolutely yes—especially considering it’s central downtown location.
Whether it’s a quick bite to eat or a specific (probably unhealthy) craving, La Palapa is there for you. The staff and lady in the front always remember regulars and their orders. Really friendly service. Highly recommend their breakfast tacos because for the price you will definitely be filled. I work nearby and plan to work my way through the menu gradually, so updates to follow!

Love the tacos . Didn't know they had so much different food but I have to check them out more often they have a great Friday of food and I really enjoy their tacos or always give me an apple juice in the morning makes me feel very fresh everytime I drink an apple juices

Breakfast croissants are the best! Homemade, hot, cheesy. Even if you take it to go and have a 15 min drive, it'll still be very warm by the time you get there. Price is perfect!! It is not overpriced as many other breakfast places nearby, and taste waaay better. Staff is very nice and food is fast. They also deliver in the downtown area. 6 years coming here, and will continue coming here. Love it!

Good tacos, low price fast service, but no dining room. Definitely recommend the breakfast super taco, and the papa burger. You'll just likely want to find somewhere else to sit down and eat them.

Best breakfast tacos in downtown Houston. Been going there for the past 12 years. I regret I'm retiring soon and won't have the opportunity to get anymore.

Super affordable and LEGIT taco stand right in the center of downtown.
It's run the same lady usually, my boyfriend eats here every morning and always has something new and positive to say about the place.
10/10!! Try it out yourself if you aren't sure! They are only open until 2pm.
