Small family owned spice shop that makes fresh ground spices. I used to have my Indian friends bring me back turmeric and curries when they visited India because whatever garbage is sold in super markets here, even in the Indian grocers, is absolutely not good. I'm so glad I discovered Chandrika Masala because this is the first place outside of India that I've found amazing spices. You pay for the quality and it's absolutely worth it. I bought the largest bag of turmeric and a large bag of garam masala for about $15, not so bad.

Very nice in house grind spices as if grinded at home specially the spices that are course like coriander, mustard seeds. Chat masala and sambhar masala are great blends. We prefer flour from here rather then aged old packed branded flours. But quality comes at price so be prepared for higher rates the usual.
