We have been to many Bun Bo Hue places. This is by far the best and authentic bun that we've had. We will definitely recommend this to all our friends and family. It has all the correct ingredients in the bowl with beef, tendon, pork hock, all the veges and herbs are spot on. Thank you for bringing the memory of what a bowl of bun bo Hue should taste like.

Our family picked up Bun Bue Hue here along with a Banh Mi. The restaurant was a little quiet at the time. The staff were friendly and helpful. They had our order just coming out the kitchen as we entered. The Bun Bue Hue was delicious per my wife who is Vietnamese. She's very picky when it comes to that dish so when she is happy, you know it's good. The Banh Mi was decent. The bread was good which matters to me. Overall, we'll definitely come back.

So far this place has been really good. I liked the broth and the meat was very tender and smoked like bbq. I'm very impressed with that. I am also impressed on the decor. Yes, the location is a bit hidden and in an odd location but if you walk in, it looks really nice just like a little cafe. It's not the best Bun Bo Hue I had but it is one of my favorite so far. Better than duc chuong for sure and also better than Saigon Noodle. I recommend for you to try it mmm

I have been working nearby since January and didn't know they served pho until very recently. My boss invited me over for pho during lunch so eh...why not (pho is my favorite food)? I was skeptical because the place seemed more focus on BBH. Anyway, I got the dac biet which only came in one size. To my pleasant surprise, I found my new favorite pho joint!!! I'm extremely picky about my broth. I haven't found a good place in YEARS around the Houston-area. To me, perfect is when you taste the broth and don't have to adjust the flavor with hoisin. That's MY perfect and they had it SPOT ON. Customer service was excellent and the vibe there was chill. Unfortunately, I didn't finish my bowl, but I tried to. It was sooooo hearty and gooood. Want some NOW! I used to go on pho missions with my dad because both of us could eat it everyday. Unfortunately, he passed away a few months ago and I wished he had the chance to try this place. He would have really loved it.

Good flavor for bbh... nice balance of lemon grass and spices. Not too much salt or msg as other places. The beef slices and cuts were delicious. The cup of tendons was a delicious add on. If you're a fan of bbh, I'd recommend this place. Also, tried the thit nuong banh mi with an added egg. Nice crunch on the bread and fillings were tasty. Overall I'd recommend this place. The service was ok but typical of Chinatown places.

Love the banh mi BBH, you can add noodles to get best of both worlds. The tea has great flavor and not watered down at all.

When a place only has one item on the menu, it's always a great sign. It means that the restaurant has perfected this one item and it's so good that it can sustain the whole restaurant, and that is definitely the case here. Okay, they also serve eggrolls and drinks that are also pretty great, but you didn't come here for that. The bun bo hue is the main course and it is crazy flavorful and crazy good. The thing about noodle soups is that sometimes it's hard to put your finger on what makes it great, but having had bun bo hue all over the city growing up in Houston, this is most definitely one of the best I've had. Duc Chuong is comparable and is tasty in their own right, but Two Bowls is just a notch higher on my list. For those of you who don't know, Duc Chuong is the other spot in town that serves only bun bo hue, and I believe they actually did it first in Houston. Go give both a try and decide for yourself, you can't go wrong either way!

Two Bowls was delicious! Normally, seeing a sleek modern decor means compromised authenticity and flavor, but this was not the case here. This is the closest to homemade bun bo hue that I have eaten in Houston, and having a clean restaurant to eat in means that you get the best of both worlds! High recommend!!

LOVE AT FIRST SLURP . It took me long enough to write this review after the 3rd time dining here. My wife told me about this place from her friends and it did not disappoint. First impression when walking in is a nice modern store with good decorations. The staff is very friendly and greeted us at the door. Let's get to the food. The menu is straight forward simple. When you know a place is good at what they are doing there is only 1 item on the menu which is Bun Bo Hue. There is Banh Mi Bo Hue but i haven't try it yet. I prefer bun over Banh Mi :). After we ordered, the staff brought out a nice presentation plate with side of vegetables and attractive bowl of bun bo. First thing first before add any lime or veggies, taste the broth. The broth is the heart and soul of any soup bowl dishes in Vietnamese cooking. I scoop up a spoon, put it in my mouth and BOY .. oooh BOYYYy. My eyes pop out my wife asked : " whut?!?! Whuuuatt??!? ... " I said ... MY TASTE BUD ON MY TOUNGE ARE DANCING FUUUUUU... SOOO GOOOOODDD. After this point , you know it's the real deal. The taste remind me of mom's cooking. There is a balance in tranquility of flavor, spices, broth. Now to the MEATS: OMG such good smell. The meats are not slices like other places or what your family often cook. The steak are cube sized just like your Bo Luc Lac , which they seasoned very well. There is that butter smell of good beef that I can't described. The restaurant took a huge revolution of vietnamese food with just this type of beef cubes. Nobody ever though bo luc lac style beef gonna blend so well with Bun Bo Hue. After this moment, I stopped talking, my head is down and focus on my bowl.... The staff keep checking on me to make sure everything is OK. I said excellent. They refill my water, clean up the table after you finish.... A+ American Service here that many places down in Chinatown overlooked. I ordered some togo to share with my family and man. The packaging is good too. They didn't over look it at all. The bun comes with a nice large bowl that you can just pour the soup in and eat right away. I was expecting foam white box just like other places but this move on the big plastic bowl is awesome. You can enjoy it at lunch hour at work without worrying about having extra bowls. In conclusion, I loved this place, they deserve the recognition of excellence in Vietnamese cooking and brought something new to the table that everyone will enjoy. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
