Sam's Deli

I have been going to Sams since the 90's. It is a great place for a huge burger and ice cream shakes. My favorite dish is the All Day Burger that has meat, lots of different cheese, eggs, bacon, sausage and other things. This place can get busy and they do not have alot of staff so you might have to wait some but it is totally worth it.

Sams Deli Diner is a comforting and delicious throwback to staple American classics from Burgers and Fries to milkshakes and root beer floats. The cafe pays homage to the many high schools in the area, bringing a sense of community throughout the eating space as patrons share stories of their days roaming the halls. Most of all, the food is excellent with juicy, mouth watering and very filling burgers made to perfection. Best to save some room for desert as the milkshakes are hand spun, made with fresh ingredients and mixed with Blue Bell ice cream. One of my coworkers got a cookies and cream shake which he stated was a great way to end a meal. If you are feeling nostalgic or just looking for a tasty burger to try out in Houston, definitely head to Sam's Deli Diner.

I've been a loyal customer of Sam's Deli since high school, and their food is simply amazing! I came across a negative review, and I have to say, it's absolute nonsense. I've never felt compelled to write a review before, but Sam's Deli's delicious food and top-notch service deserve recognition. For the past five years, I've enjoyed their incredible food and received the best service from any establishment. The flavors in their burgers are outstanding, and the service is exceptional. Sam’s is a place I grew up going to as a kid. After any athletic event, we would all pile up for a classic burger and one of his Blue Bell shakes. I’m 23 years old now, and after getting breakfast today, I’m disappointed that Sam doesn’t get much patronage anymore. Yes, the menu has shrunk a bit, and yes, the food isn’t lightning fast, but it’s spectacular American diner fare. COME SUPPORT THIS LOCAL BUSINESS, IT’S SO WORTH IT!!!

Local hamburger and shakes restaurant. breakfast too. Delicious hamburgers created on an open griddle. Family owned and operated. During busy times service might be slow as each burger is made to order. Got the breakfast sandwich this time. Crunchy bacon. The "hash browns" are made with French fries. Very different.
