Magic Cup

Went during Tuesday lunch hours and was expecting busy service but was fortunate enough we came before a wave of customers. The viet frappe was delicious but a bit sweet for my taste. I was hoping for a fusion of the bitterness of Vietnamese coffee with a Frappuccino. My drink came more on the Frappuccino side. My wife, on the other hand, had the bitterness I was looking for. Regardless of preference, it was still great with the right price to match! Meaning affordable. Would return after having Korean BBQ. Recommended!

The boba drink experience at this spot was satisfying, with a unique touch. Opted for Thai Milk Tea with Chia Seeds and Coffee Jelly, choosing no ice and less sweetness. The Thai Milk Tea delivered a delightful blend, enhanced by the chewy texture of chia seeds and the unexpected addition of coffee jelly. Adjusting sweetness levels catered to personal taste preferences. Despite the enjoyable concoctions, minor improvements in consistency could elevate the overall experience. A solid 4-star rating captures the positive aspects, signaling room for enhancement to achieve a more consistent and exceptional boba drinking experience.

One of the few boba places that have a drive thru service. Service is always super quick and delicious. Our favorite drink here that no one else can beat is the Green Thai Tea with boba. We love it so much that we ordered a gallon for a party. The manager made it cup by cup to pour into the gallon bottle. This was a hot commodity our party! 10/10 would order a gallon again

We heard they made a great frozen blended coffee drink so wifey and I had to try it. The mocha frappes, one with boba and one without, were very tasty and we asked for thick and we got thick. You can ask for different sweetness levels, we got 50%. We'll be back for more goodies. My wife and I both got and enjoyed a Vietnamese coffee frap. She liked hers better 'cause when I got near the bottom of mine I found a piece of plastic, kept drinking and found another. That was it for me. Our daughter-in-law enjoyed her frozen blended fruit concoction. I will not return. second and last visit....

This place is the best comfort food/snack/craving. The food is always on point! My favorite employee is Bao, She always so sweet and welcoming the atmosphere is always great vibes when she is around I always see her full of smiles and she’s so helpful. I suggest the shop owner actually pays attention to who they have running the shifts because your staff is either always on the phone and from what I’ve seen magic cup has uniform I never see the shift leaders in uniform and it is never a failing moment when I see them on their phones! This place is obviously on egg shells the type of people being hired are NOT workplace material AND very disrespectful they are very unaware and just standing around most of the time. The only employee I have seen myself with my own eyes that actually welcomes the customers and makes me feel welcomed is BAO NGUYEN. Every time I go i make sure to speak with her because I know I’ll never receive an attitude or a bad vibe. I am amazed at her work ethic after she expressed to me she has 2 jobs! I am amazed at her ability to treat me with dignity and respect. I myself work closely in the food/customer service industry and the efforts I’ve seen given by Ms. Nguyen are impactful!! Magic cup needs to go through a detox and get rid of most of the lazy , disrespectful, inattentive, irresponsible people I have come across when BAO is not on shift! I learned my lesson to only show up if she is on shift! Unbelievable how much these things will go overlooked horrible business! The food is amazing the drinks are amazing but magic cup needs to pay attention to who they hire and value the extraordinary employees who actually do their jobs!

Chill place and atmosphere. As far as the drinks go, which after all is the main business of the place right, it's not the same as it used to be, as far as taste and quality goes. Even some of my favorite drinks have been removed from the menu completely, one of which is the Frozen Coconut Coffee with Coconut Flakes 😕 Bring tht back & I'll be back more often like before...

We were looking for a place to go out and try something new. We were headed down Bellaire Blvd and hit some road construction so we turned around and stopped at Magic Cup. It was surprisingly good. We had a decaf latter…very average, but what made it fun weee the Magic Puffs. Fresh hot donut like pastries with powdered sugar and chocolate. Made the stop worth it! This is a fun place and the menu looks like it has some fun teas as well. I wanted to try the Tiger Latte… maybe next time.

Fantastic service! Online orders are fulfilled exactly as placed and on time. All their drinks are so good! I especially like their hot dark roast cafe sua da. They have the best kimchi fries too; the perfect amount of toppings, excellent flavor, oh man it's just a great snack! Plenty of seating inside, looks cozy and relaxing. I can't think of anything negative to say about this place. An excellent bubble tea place!! Edit: the voodoo chicken is fantastic too! A mix of light and dark meat chicken, moist and perfectly juicy without being overly so. The breading is also spot on. Yum yum yum 😋!
