I lived in the apartments nextdoor for 2 years. This was a weekly staple to cure my hangovers, the only thing I could eat when sick, and late night fix. Best beef arabe and pickled vegetables.
I moved out of Houston about 6 months ago and I crave their food and warm smiles.

When I tell you this restaurant goes ABOVE and BEYOND to ensure customers have a great experience: I 100% mean that! The customer service is TOP TIER and they value their customer’s wants and needs. The chicken shawarma with the different sauces are banging. I would eat this for lunch any and every day if I could. I want to give a special shout out to Melody for treating my guests and i with love and respect. You’ve got to try this place you guys!

Went super late - past 1 IIRC - but food was great and really nothing to complain about. Slightly sketch location but there was a cop inside and it really doesn't matter. Would recommend for a late night option.

Food was worth the new experience. In would try it again just didn't like how they didn't really have anything to drink also it was hot inside

I love this place; the food is amazing! Two years ago, I visited this spot, and now, after two years, I traveled from Fort Worth, TX, to Houston. During my trip, I made sure to stop by Abu Omar's restaurant, and God-willing, I plan to visit there again soon, inshallah.
