Chez Beignets

GREAT PLACE! Highly recommend the beignets & the crème brûlée. The beignets come out plain, you add your own honey & powdered sugar which is great if you’re like me who wants more sugar than their bf who doesn’t. The people working were so nice, informative, and patient. Also, this order for the beignets we got was a small. When we asked for a to-go bag they included to-go syrup & sugar as well. Their crème brûlée was so good I had to buy an extra one. Their facilities are also very well kept and clean. Definitely coming back. 🥳

Definitely will be coming back! I had the Iced Cinnamon Almond milk Machiatto, which is yummy! Not too sweet and the coffee taste is good. My husband ordered the Mangonada and he loved it. Can taste it is fresh mango, not canned, which was confirmed. Also the small pillow beignets were delicious! Place is cute and i like it has outside seating.

A good dessert and hangout place. Gets very busy on weekend nights. Their beignets are good (I had the little pillows), and they provide DIY powdered sugar, honey, and other seasonings for you. There’s a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating, although indoors can feel stuffy at times. The beignets are sweeter and a bit more dense than I expected, but still good, especially if you have a big sweet and sugary tooth. I would say these are closer to donut hole textures. Also bought some macarons which were pricey but good. Overall, a pretty good place to grab a fun dessert to share with others and socialize.

Can with a local Vietnamese friend who grew up in this area. Perfect location. Saw at least 5 different ethnicities and people of all ages enjoying the pastries. Although it’s due to the sad history of the French colonization of Vietnam, I’m super impressed at how a shop like this (it says they’ve been owned by a few generations of the same Vietnamese family!) has created very good combinations of Vietnamese/French food offerings. Also, the Beignets were melt in your mouth amazing. They were warm and fluffy and you could order 3 different versions-we had the medium pillowy and more crunchy and sides of honey and confectioner’s sugar were included. We also ordered sliced mango. Everyone was very fresh. Was pleasantly surprised.
