V & V Sandwich Shop

Went here today for my boyfriend’s birthday lunch, read a lot of good reviews and wanted to try it out. I like that the place isn’t an order at the counter, you’re being served at your table. I got the Mickey club sandwich, my boyfriend got the #1. These sandwiches are huge, they are $20+ each, we got dessert as well the cheesecake, it was $12 and super huge we shared it. It’s a large amount of food so we had to take a to go plate. The food was ok, I didn’t like my sandwich only because i felt like it was plain, some sauce would be great. It wasn’t a long wait time, which is great. What I didn’t like is how unhappy some of the workers look, they’re just standing there some of the young ones look unhappy no smiles on their faces, just wish they were more happy it would give me a good experience there seeing happy faces.

Authentic Jewish-style NY Deli! Luxurious atmosphere. Humongous servings. I ordered food I normally can’t find in Texas! Including Chocolate egg cream, matzo ball soup, kaska varnishkis ( spelling?) and blintzes. Lot’s more choices but I was still full from Thanksgiving! Still made room for kreplach.

Went because I was recommended to come here for a pastrami sandwich. I got the #2 smoked pastrami and my coworker with me got the #14. The sandwich was good. I wish I would have took the recommendation from the server to get the #14 as it looked way better for same price. All in all I call the pastrami sandwich I got ok. Price was kinda high feel for just a sandwich. The pickles were good. Love fresh pickles.

OMG! I just had the best pastrami ever!!!!! Literally. I ordered the #5 Love At First Bite, and it was AMAZERSSSS!!! The sandwich was hugemongous! I had to take some meat off just so I could bite it. I honestly needed snake jaws to get my mouth to open that wide! The pastrami is made in-house as well as the rye bread and the pickles, and everything was soo delicious and fresh. You will not be disappointed. All the food that I saw coming out looked sooooo good. Krisley was my waitress and she was phenomenal. She had excellent recommendations and prompt service. The establishment was clean, and the decor was so New York. This is definitely a delicious deli to delight in... I'll be back!

This is one of our favorite place to dine when we want sandwiches. They never disappointed us. There are so many menu items, it's ridiculous. You will find something that you would want. I always get the #16 challah French toast loaded with turkey, ham, and swiss cheese, with a side of strawberry sauce for dipping and maple syrup as well. Oh, this is four servings for me. I could only eat half of a half (1/4). It's great as left over too, heat it up in the microwave or air fryer. Their sweet potatoes fries are delicious too.

#HowdyFromHouston love the new digs! This local landmark has moved to a larger location and the upgrades are amazing. Be careful in ordering because everything is oversize and triple the amount.
