V's Thai Restaurant & Bar

This is a great down to earth small Thai food joint. Came here for my birthday on my first visit. Same thing I get at every Thai food place, drunken noodles and tofu red curry, it was delicious. Great prices, 4 adults ate well for under 60 bucks. They also have a bar and what seemed like a group of regulars. Definitely adding to my list of great Thai food and coming back soon!

We loved our lunch there, food and service. We could pick our level of spice, too. My Mongolian Beef had a very tasty brown sauce with a good amount of green vegetables and rice. It also came with a spicy vegetable broth, lettuce with peanut sauce, and a small egg roll, only about $7. They also have happy hour between 5 and 8, half prices on Sunday, and live music on Fri. and Sat. nights.

I've ordered from here several times for delivery and the food is always very tasty. My husband and I ate here last night and sadly the portions are always different (even when you order for delivery) last night the fresh spring rolls were much thinner than usual (they are a must try still, the peanut sauce is SO good) and our dishes although delicious left us hungry, just was not a very good portion size. We ordered the Sweet & Sour Tofu and the Cashew Tofu, absolutely delicious and our waiter was vefy helpful. The restaurant has a very calming atmosphere. Overall I do recommend this restaurant, just a suggestion to the chef on tofu dishes you could use more tofu!

This is a cozy little spot to get away from it all and enjoy great food. The atmosphere was very serene and the food is amazing it's very fresh. The cheese spring rolls are a MUST!!! Great spot for a date night. Good music and the Saki is delish as well. I love that the servers work together and are attentive!!

Nice mellow place to eat authentic Thai food. The yellow curry is the best here. Pretty much all the food is good. Wait staff is top notch. Staff treats you like royalty. There is also a full bar. Also, there is karaoke here!!! Every Friday, there is "professional" karaoke singer that performs the entire night. I don't know her name, but she has an enchanting voice. This is definitely a place to bring a date or just hang out.

I ate here the other night on a Saturday. This was my second time going here and both times there was someone singing on the stage. I'm not sure if they have someone up there every night, but it was nice to hear a different culture's music. The food was good. I got the drunken noodles with beef medium spicy. It was delish! Great amount of spicy, veggies, meat, & sauce. I loved it. My date got the pineapple fried rice also medium spicy. It was a tad bit too spicy for him, but he still loved it nonetheless. One thing I did dislike though was how hot it was. There was no relief from this Texas heat considering they didn't turn on the AC. They had fans on, but that didn't do it justice. It was muggy & humid. I'm not sure if the AC was broken, but the last time I ate here was during winter & so it wasn't so bad in the restaurant. All in all, the food was great & I will come back again. Hopefully next time it'll be much cooler.
