09/17/2023: Solid shop to get fresh cha aka Vietnamese pork sausage/ham. My family really enjoy the cha. I believe this shop is connected to the one in the Dallas/Garland area. FYI it’s a cash only place.

Still delicious as always. Their lines are always long, but don’t let that steer goin away. Their service is super fast with 3 cashiers at a time. The only down side is that they don’t take phone orders for bulk and they are cash only!

This place imo the closest thing you’ll get to experience a real food market in Vietnam. Very authentic and this is what the common Vietnamese worker eat day to day. Get some banh mi, crispy rice, and a Che desert and you’ll cure depression.

It was our first time here and we’re not Vietnamese so we didn’t know what we were getting but they all looked tasty! Very busy. First time seeing corn milk which we bought! Also got Pandan Soymilk, one of the prepared coconut desserts, sesame ball (mung bean and coconut filling). Will come back again to get try more items.

Busy place where you stand in line going from right to left. Point and tell them how many you want. Cash only. The cashier is usually a guy and he’s fast and his accounting has been correct all these years. He’s pretty nice and you can ask him questions when the line is not too crazy.
This place has very good Chả Lụa, Vietnamese finely ground pork- seasoned with fish sauce, wrapped in banana leaves, and steamed until cooked, white, and aromatic. You slice the loaf up and eat it by itself, dip it with dipping sauce and eat it with rice, eat it with Bánh cuốn with a side of bean sprouts and diced cucumbers.
Their pyramid banana leaf wrapped Bánh Giò is also very tasty for a good snack or a meal. It is a Vietnamese tamale of ground pork, onions, and black fungus mushrooms. Instead of masa, it is a combination of rice and tapioca flour. Reheat it for 1.5 minutes in the microwave, unwrap and eat it with a spoon. Really addictive.
I also like their Nem. It’s like crazy spicy garlicky ceviche. But instead of fish, it’s finely ground raw pork, tons of garlic, whole black peppers, thai peppers, mix of lime and vinegar. It’s an acquired taste. But it’s soo good! They’ve increased the price. So I splurge sometimes.
Be careful when parking. Lots of cars zooming by and people running in and out shops so take your time when parking and getting out.
