Combination sandwich is my best pick. The grilled pork sandwich is too sweet for my tastes. Meatball sandwich is also equally good.

Great price! The perfect Vietnamese sandwich, best in Houston! They make their own meatballs and they add them to the special "thap cam" sandwich! The bread is longer and thinner than other Vietnamese sandwich shops, so you can enjoy the ingredients!
Bathrooms need attention and the parking is crazy during lunch!

They were out of pate before 2pm on Sunday, so I’ll go earlier next time. I got the large meatball banh mi and shredded chicken banh mi. The baguette was pretty long, but the filling of the meatball was a bit scarce. The flavors in both were super delicious though! The aoili was freaking awesome, the veggies inside were fresh, and the baguette was perfectly toasted. Reminder: Cash only!

Thim hing is definitely top 3 in Houston for banh mi. Don cafe Bellaire location (only fresh), alpha bakery inside hk4, and Nguyen Ngo were to me, the best. We're going to have to shove thim hing up in there somewhere now. Also their yogurt is out of the world. The black sesame rice cake is very good as well.

Stopped in for lunch. We had the chicken & pork Bahn Mi. The food was good, not the best I've had, but ok. Only challenge they don't take credit card. Only cash or zelle.

the french bread is so good and it still for days when it is toasted. I stock them and put them in freezer and unfreeze it just a bit when I need, toasted it and yummy 😋

Man all the bad reviews don’t reflect how good their sandwiches really are. It’s true they don’t give you a lot of meat, but the quality, flavors, and freshness of their baguettes are unmatched.

5/5 banh mi. Don’t know what the haters are saying. This is the best banh mi bread hands down. The meat quality is great as well. It is extremely crispy fluffy and chewy. I guess you can go to Lee’s sandwiches if you want a bad banh mi.

one of my favorite banh mi places! they’ve increased their prices over the years (i assume to accommodate for cost of living), but at the same time they’ve also become very stingy with meats/vegetables. overall worth! cash only!!!
