Had a good experience at our first visit. Veg momos was really good! Liked the malai kofta too. But its a bit pricey for the quantity served. Buffet didn't seem worth for the options provided. Would love to try out other menu dishes.

We went right after the lunch crowd, so it was very quiet. This was my first experience with Indian cuisine and I enjoyed it! I played it safe by trying the Chicken Tikka Masala. My friend had the Chicken Pakora and enjoyed it too. I think next time I will try one of the delicious-looking seafood dishes, but I will have to work my way up to one of the lamb or goat dishes. I'm sure everything will be delicious. The service and atmosphere was great.

Ordered a few things from the Nepalese menu and they all tasted great. Some dishes have a fair amount of Chinese influence. Also got the lunch buffet that was all Indian food and they had maybe 8-10 different dishes, all good as well. The coolest part is the owner used to live in Japan for a long time so I was surprised to see Japanese fried chicken on the menu but it all makes sense. Great people and great food.

Absolutely phenomenal experience at this Nepalese Indian restaurant! From the moment I stepped in, I was captivated by the fusion of Nepalese and Indian culture evident in the charming decor and warm atmosphere. The momos, oh my, they were truly amazing – bursting with authentic spices and perfectly steamed, making each bite an absolute delight. For anyone seeking a unique and memorable culinary adventure, this restaurant is an absolute gem! I'll undoubtedly be returning to savor more of their exceptional dishes.

The food is good. I love the chicken noodles. The price is reasonable and the buffet is good. They have good vegetarian options. The people are really nice here.

I'm sad that this place is no longer the Amar Indian restaurant. Does anybody know if the family who owned Amar opened a restaurant somewhere else? I loved, loved, loved their diahes.

I tried this place for lunch , i just tried their veg egg Chowmein as i was not hungry enough for buffet lunch..( everything looked yummy) Chowmein was very yummy, fresh,perfect spice and authentic. I will definitely try their buffet and other nepali dishes.

OMG This was a great find... best Indian food we've had in the US! If you're in the Houston area go check it out... they do a buffet daily from 11 to 2👍😁
This was from our 1st time we found this gem.
Today we drove 1 45min just to try out the lunch buffet and it was SO good. If you like Indian or want to try it you can not go wrong with the lunch buffet!
