I enjoyed my chicken tacos for lunch and the horchata for lunch. The owner was running the register and answers all of my questions. He told me all about their menu items and was very attentive when taking my order. The food was great and it was made to order. very tasty!

Had a quick couple of Tacos - a beef and chicken fajita. They make their own tortillas and the tacos were delicious! They’re a small place, but had great service and the owner’s really friendly.

This is a very authentic taqueria. Amazing food and the owner/staff/service were great. It's small with limited parking and can get pretty busy for breakfast and lunch. There is free street parking when the small lot is full.

1st restaurant I encounter in Houston that has bean and cheese tacos on the menu. Everything is handmade to order and the flavors were amazing and delicious. The homemade flour tortillas don't disappoint and you can't beat the prices. I suggest you call ahead during busy breakfast hours. If you're a regular they recognize your order by memory which is awesome 👌🏽

Great place for breakfast tacos. The tacos were delicious, and they didn't hold back on the portion for each taco. The homemade flour tortillas were awesome, too!!!

Very delicious place to eat. Y'all come out to J.R taqueria to get authentic harina tortillas. You will not be disappointed hands down best tacos, filled with meat. Salsas are good with flavor.

JR tacos are the best ! Authentic home made Mexican food !!fresh! Absolutely delicious ! I wish they had a one near my place unfortunately I was just driving through Houston and found this little piece of culinary heaven,, I'd go everyday if I could! ! Love love this place.
