May's Ice Cream & Vegatarian Cafe

I have to admit. I set my hopes way too high. After living in Vietnam and missing Vietnamese vegan food, I wanted to rekindled the feelings I had from just a few years ago. This is the problem with expectations. I should of had none. But as a vegan chef that is hard to do. I expect food to wow me and filled my food memories with great experiences. For me the dishes I ordered didn't take me to Saigon.

Great Vegan food I ordered four different courses..(BUT) they really need more staff to help out for the front end .The lady was running around the restaurant when I say running I really mean running from one end to the other.Customer service can't be its best because she had the phone ringing as well as 3 ppl in line plus she was trying to set a table same time talking on the phone WOW .I understand being a superwoman hey i am one but its not good for business she really need more help so their guest want feel ignored and rushed as I did .I wanted to dine in to eat but she basically was like we are about to close in an hour soo :(..I took that as just take it to go.Once again food was fresh and good i will go back but next time i will order to go.

I’ve been to this restaurant about twice.The food is really good but the second time we can we questioned weather there was a barber shop in the bc there was soo much hair in our food. It didn’t make any sense. I wanted to order during Covid but then I remembered and it make me question how sanitary they are being in the kitchen. I would like to give props to the lady who is always dressed so nice in Asian attire.
