Ok, it's not going to be for everyone. It's not exactly run like most supermarkets here. It looks a little disheveled and unkempt, but it really isn't. Then once you get past the fact that it's exactly that, just a supermarket, no esthetics, no new paint, floor is old and slightly cracked here and there linoleum from probably the 80's but the selection of meat, fish and poultry is second to none. I mean it's great quality, fresh and butchered THERE AT THE STORE, NOT PRE+PACKAGED meats! Then the prices! We bought a whole back strap compared to (same size unit) Randall's $160, Walmart $120, Fiesta $87..... We paid... .... .... $20.00, YES, THIS IS CORRECT!!!! We compared to the least expensive price range (some were after digital coupons) pound for pound. We bought duck wings for $3/Lb & got 2Lbs. Bigger than chicken wings, better tasting than chicken! I'm trying to tell you, this is one of H-Towns best kept secrets. Don't expect the Randall's or even Fiesta atmosphere, just expect the unexpected and you will have a greater appreciation for the My Hoa Food Market experience. Tell 'em Tyger sent you!

First time there everyone was nice. It's a quaint little place. I love the fact that you can find a lot of different things there. I enjoyed looking around and making my few purchases. I went looking for Miso and ended up finding Soursop leaves as well which e was thinking I would have to order online. Saved me a ton of money instead.
