Booked for my friends birthday. Service was amazing. Steak was cooked perfectly for a table of 6 and would highly recommend it. It's one of my new favourites in Hove!

Had a fabulous meal here. Excellent steak, generous and quality sides and some delicious and innovative starters. Perhaps more importantly - it has a sensibly priced, varied, but accessible wine list. My point of reference for steak restaurants is the Hawksmoor, I see no reason why they’d open in Brighton and Hove as Carne are already doing that and more. Great stuff.

Me and my family book for mother's day, it is my second time coming to carne and they absolutely did not disappoint. The food was again fantastic and the roast potatoes and beef were cooked to perfection. the cocktails and service from the Italian manager was great. I must say that the cheese cake is by far the best baked cheese cake I have ever eaten . Will definitely be back

This was a busy Saturday night. The atmosphere was great with a real buzz. If it hadn't been for a ridiculous 90 mins wait for food and not the hottest when delivered, the visit would have been great. The staff were very attentive and apologetic. Just too busy I guess?!

Had a Valentines meal here this evening. Food was good and amazing portion sizes. You do pay a premium for it though. Service was friendly but slow. One person to deal with the floor wasn’t enough and we hung around waiting at times and so did others. Would be better to serve the main dishes on the plates as the tables are too small for all the dishes together with drinks and sides. Worth a try.

Great steak restaurant! We visited for the first time on Saturday 3rd Jan for lunch. All the food was delicious and the meat is superb! The Chateaubriand was excellent! We'll be back 👍😃

Had the best rib eye steak in recent memory, dripping chips were fantastic. Wife had the slow cooked ribs, incredible. Yes its expensive but the food is really great. Good wine as well. Going back for more Ox cheek doughnuts!

Had a wonderful experience and service from start to finish, with the manager explaining our choice of wine and which grapes are used to him walking through our dishes and recommending dishes based on our own preference, not just based on price. A massive shout-out to the chef who worked on NYE everything we had was spectacular, extremely happy to make this our last meal of 2023.
