Nando's Hove

Food is Nando's standard, not a high class restaurant but great for popping into for a decent meal that isn't overpriced. I have been to many Nando's this one is always busy, noisy and you can be ignored fir a while due the amount of deliveroo and just eat drivers collecting takeaways. Our drinks glasses came out along with the meals which wasn't good. I think the sides are overpriced for what you get. 4 small bits of long stem Broccoli for the price not great.

02/03/2024 A good location to sit, relax and enjoy the meal with around two hours free parking. Generally friendly staff and decent ambience. Cooking on fire grill is best. Vusa sauce is my favourite hot sauce. Four stars, because, 1. The tables opposite to the toilets are my biggest concern (a mood killer) otherwise the ambience is good to eat in. 2. The breast piece in the 1/2 chicken was not cooked properly, despite my request to make it well done. The Piri piri sauce was poured on top of the chicken after it was taken off from the fire grill. From my experience of eating in and cooking, the sauce should've been cooked along with the chicken on the grill. (NOT looking for any compensation).

My fiancé and I visit Nando’s hove at least once a week, partly because of the food but more so because of the staff at this branch. Anatalio and Jesus are so welcoming, very hospitable and always provide excellent service. Whether we come in large groups, or just the two of us, their service is impeccable and they always ensure we’re having a great evening, with great food! Because of their service, we hold all our social gatherings at this branch and we would recommend it to anyone! Thanks guys!

Good experience despite the long wait ( didn't book in advance so a 50 mini wait on a Saturday evening) food lovely. Booked food through app but would have liked the option of table service or someone to discuss the menu with ( without interrupting a busy waiter/waitress. Bottomless frozen yoghurt was a hit!

Jesus was absolutely amazing at serving my friends and I! He made our Friday night amazing by providing excellent service with a huge smile on his face. My 2 friends and I needed a table and he was quick to sort it out! We won’t forget how amazing he is and look forward to seeing him again soon! Thanks Jesus!

Nandos is the phenomenal success story that it is because when you're good enough at something that you can specialise in roasting chicken in an international franchise kind of way, the hipster arty walhol-esque art might be different but some things stay the same. The same attentive, knowledgable, professional staff in the restaurant and I the kitchen is another quietly successful thing that Nandos get right. The butterfly chicken breast is my favourite - the mixed grains thing is underwhelming but the new leafy salad is a winner if they'd drizzle a bit of dressing on it.
