Los Tres Amigos

We arrived 30min before closing time on a Wednesday night. Staff seemed to be getting ready to close since there was no one else dining in (probably slow day in the middle of the week) but we still received excellent service and delicious food. Apologies showing up so late, pregnancy cravings kick in whenever they want so I really appreciate you guys serving us and with the same great quality!!

We ate here today on Fathers day. We had a party of 7 and once we got inside we noticed signs saying they were extremely short staffed. Our waitress was extremely friendly and stated that they only had two servers for the entire restaurant. To be honest we were a little worried considering we had four kids that were starving. She kept the kids content with chips and salsa and the refills coming and every time she came back to the table she apologized for the wait. When our food came everything was perfect. We understand businesses being short staffed but this woman did a phenomenal job, she went above and beyond tonight! We will definitely be returning

Man, I really wanted to enjoy this meal. However, it took an extra long time to get our food, one of our orders was wrong and 3 of the 4 dishes came out luke warm (the 3 correct orders). To top it off, they charged extra on 2 main dishes bc of higher costs but neither the menu nor did anyone indicate it upon entry or seating. Positives: They credited back the extra charge. The chips and salsa was good and I still tipped 20% (they were extremely short staffed and we were still grateful someone came in to work.)

Food isn't bad, actually the Toluca was pretty tasty. Beer was warm and so were the beans, meaning they should be coming out hot. Now as far as service. They are trying to be friendly and they look overwhelmed as they are clearly understaffed. Yet I don't get why they don't utilize just one dining room instead of stretching themselves so thin trying to serve people on both sides. Focus on half the restaurant and open just a portion of it. This way you're only going to lose more staff.

First time in this location based on positive food reviews but unfortunately we did not get a chance to try the food. I understand businesses, especially restaurants, are short staffed. Your note on the door stating such is a good reminder, however that is not an excuse for a rude server. We entered at noon and was surprised there was only one customer. Yet it took 10 mins for the server to drop of chips which he did and left. We had to wave him over and ask for menus, which took another 3-5 minutes. The server seemed annoyed and slammed down our menus not saying a word and walked away. Literally another 10 minutes go by and we had to once again wave him over to say we are ready to order. He appeared annoyed not saying a word. At this point, it was 25 mins after we arrived and our only interaction with our server was when we flagged him down. Then we noticed 2 other tables who sat down way after us had already received their food (but they had a different server). 15 more minutes go by. Still no food and no sign of our server. We decided to leave. I told the gentleman behind the bar about our experience and that we were walking out because of our rude server, waiting 40 minutes and still no food. His response was “okay”. This was the first time ever leaving a restaurant before receiving the meal. Again I understand being short staffed but that should not have impacted our service with initially only 1 other customer there. The rudeness is inexcusable. Overall, horrible experience.
