White Castle

I grew up on Little Tavern, so I was psyched to get a chance to try White Castle as I was traveling through New Jersey. This was a big mistake! I'm only giving it a 2 because I ate the food due to being super hungry after a long day. Where to start...? The store was dirty, ice cold, and the staff was mostly unfriendly. (And didn't wear masks properly.) The burgers were literally 1/8 inch thick and should be considered vegan as they seemed to have no beef. (The meat was exceedingly pale and tasteless.). The onion rings were boring and didn't even remotely taste like they contained onions. The chocolate shake seemed to entirely lack milk products and tasted strange and flat. The fudge dipped brownie on a stick was hard, chewy, and unpleasant. I never thought I would meet a brownie that I didn't like, but this taught me otherwise. My girlfriend's mozzarella sticks didn't even come with any sauce! Save yourself the suffering and eat elsewhere.

I’ve been to this white castle about 10 times and every time someone is so rude. Maybe you should pay your employees more and you get some nicer people in there that are happy to work because they’re getting paid decent money. Instead you have a bunch of jerks that know nothing about customer service. No wonder people hate this place. Never again.

Was traveling to the Howell location to cover a store for my job. To find out that there's a White Castle literally across the street from where I'm working. Since I never have the opportunity to eat at a White Castle, as they are not from where I live. With that being said I enjoy the number one combo, and enjoyed their sliders fries very much. Much better in person than this Frozen kind. If you live in the area or if you're traveling definitely check it out it was very clean as well. Yumis Maximus
