Staff was polite and service was quick. Place feels like walking into a dirty house. The food had a weird taste and I couldn't even drink the coffee. Coffee has a chemical taste. It's worth it to pay a little more and go to a real Diner

I just ate breakfast at CCS and I have to say besides the food being great(I had the Irish omelette w/ a side of French toast) the staff was the absolute friendliest staff I have ever seen. I’m new to the Howell area back in NJ from Florida and I felt like I was back in the south based on how friendly everyone was. I worked and managed bars and restaurants all over the country for over 20 years and I have never been blessed with such a happy staff of employees that I witnessed this morning. Howell is lucky to have this diamond in the rough called Colonial Coffee Shop and I’m glad I only live a few minutes away. I will definitely be back and become a new regular.

No frills breakfast and lunch spot. Friendly staff with quick service. Decor is a bit dated. Not many "mom and pop" breakfast options like this in Howell, so this is a good choice.

My girls , Scramble eggs were burnt. Home fries not much of a taste. Hot tea kind of cool. Grilled crumb cake is good though. But we did get her breakfast on the house.

Under new management as of beginning of May. Have been personally and found the food much improved, the service very friendly and the decor updated and refreshed from what it was prior. A really grest spot for breakfast, brunch or anytime!
