Impromptu pop into the pub this evening after a fabulous beach walk. So welcoming, we absolutely loved the ‘dog station’ with treats, blankets, water etc for our gorgeous puppy. We ordered drinks and were warmly welcomed to visit the complimentary cheese board which was fabulous!!! Martha, the lovely owner, helped us load cheese onto our plates along with crackers, salami and fresh fruit. We love this pub and visit each time we have walked along the beach. The staff are so lovely and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. Only problem… we didn’t want to leave. Thanks Martha and team, see you very soon xxx

As I am suffering from spinal cancer, I requested a table with no steps to get to it, a comfy seat and a cushion to put behind me. They did all that. I asked if I could choose from the children’s menu as I only have a small appetite and cannot swallow some things. They were happy to let me do that and even gave me a plain ice cream which is not on the menu! A member of staff kindly showed me where the disabled toilet was when I requested its whereabouts. The staff were all very cheerful and extra helpful. We were asked had we enjoyed our meal - which we had . We thought the meals for the 3 of us were delicious and god value..

I had reserved a table & we had a lovely warm welcome & were shown to our table. The staff asked straight away if we would like a drink & these came minutes later. There was a lot of choice on the menu. We had Sirloin steak, which was cooked to perfection & Roasted pepper & halloumi flatbread, which was amazing. The staff were very attentive. I would definitely recommend anyone to eat here.

Great meal. Party of 6 and we were not rushed to finish or leave. Restaurant was busy but we were served reasonably quickly. A few items were missed of meals, but once mentioned were quickly replaced. We had to chase to order desert, but again it was quickly served. Waiting staff were all friendly and helpful. An older lady who appeared to be a manager seemed more rushed so she appeared to be leaving and not listening to answers after asking if all ok, but assume if there was an issue she would have resolved it. Food was good quality for ‘pub grub’. None of us could figure out why some items were highlighted in a pink box on the menu though
