Monte Carlo Restaurant, Bar & Grill

Called into Monte Carlo for a coffee due to not much open on a slow Winter Sunday. What a treat, we had Coffee and Pizza due to the half price offer. Lovely welcoming staff and tasty pizza. We live in Southport so won’t be regulars as just out for a walk somewhere different but will certainly call in when in Hoylake again.

Had a fantastic meal here this afternoon. Helen and her team were extremely professional and attentive. The food was beautiful- everything cooked perfectly and very high quality. Good selection of wine and excellent tapas! What a gem to stumble across on a day trip out - will certainly return. Thank you!

First time here and we picked 3 tapas dishes and wow they didn't disappoint! One of the best tapas I've had especially the calamari. Perfect outdoor seating under a shelter along with plenty of indoor space. Monte Carlo is also dog friendly. Chilled atmosphere and comfortable seating. The two staff members were brilliant, polite and helpful. The restaurant inside and was was very clean. I highly recommended this place and we'll be going again.

Delicious food, had the seafood and the vegetarian sharing platters, plus some other bits, and all of it was so good! Especially the truffle fries! We also really enjoyed the cocktail special, 'You Make me Blush'. Came for lunch while visiting my nan nearby, and eating here made us feel like we were on holiday again (the sunny weather obviously helped!) Will absolutely be back next time we're in the area!
