Hong Kong

This was our first time trying the Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant. The rest in the area aren't very good so decided to give them a try. We ordered fried mushrooms (very good) crab ragon and Bourbon Chicken. The Won Ton soup that came with the lunch special was outstanding! Everything was very hot - even after making a 15 minute stop before heading home! We were pleased with our order:)

The food was OK. Not great but not bad. I asked for a shrimp egg roll she said she had to charge more $. I got it and there was not much cabbage and a half of a shrimp in there. So you charged me for a half of a shrimp? The pork fried rice was good but a little dry. The chicken teriyaki sticks were just OK. Don't think it's worth going back. Edit: I gave it another try today. The rice was so dry, I got shrimp and broccoli and it was so dry not much sauce or portion. The egg drop soup was orange and so thick. The teriyaki sticks were still disgusting. And why are they not red? The shrimp egg rolls were very small with hardly anything inside. The only thing that was decent was the rib tips. So after trying it 2 times. I won't be back!

I don't usually write reviews unless I am either blown away (positive) or etremely disappointed. his is a 5 star "totally blown away" happy review. We had been using another Hudson rstaurant of like cuisine, and the last time was the icing on the cake - the worst food we have ever had. Most of it went down the garbage disposal it was that bad. I saw Hong Kong on line and all the positive reviews so we tried it. THE BEST BY FAR, of any other in the 20 mile radius and trust me, we have tried virtually all of them, HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
