Great family style restaurant. Don’t let the outside deter you from a great meal. I love Patty melts. This patty melt was at the top of my list of favorites. Fries were crisp. Coleslaw was sweet and delicious. Service was prompt and friendly. When back in town I will gladly spend my money here with confidence. Oh yea the prices are very reasonable.

Pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. We were passing through the area and there weren't many places to stop at. I'll honestly say I wasn't expecting a whole lot since the clientele was a bit of an older crowd and the restaurant was a little outdated. I was so happy with the food we ordered though. The honey fried chicken special was delicious and I got a cup of chicken vegetable soup to start with which was seasoned wonderfully. The chicken was crispy and full of flavor and good seasoning and the service was excellent. Our server was so friendly and attentive despite how busy they were and our meals even came with ice cream. The prices were great especially for the amount of food. Would definitely eat here again next time I'm in the area. 10/10!

The locals frequent here..so what does it tell you??? Yummy! Prices reasonable. My friend took me out. The food is always " yummy" and the service always great. They have a daily special during the week. Their menu has a good variety of foods..to salads, sandwiches, seafood, comfort foods. I highly recommend " Franks" restaurant with the green roof in Hudson on U.S. 19.

Food has no flavor at all, I ordered stuffed mushrooms... no flavor, had to ask to have cheese and croutons to be put on my side salad which was literally just plain lettuce and dressing when brought out. My main course was crab cakes... I have no idea how they took the flavor out of crab meat but they managed to do so, literally tasted like fried corn meal with zero flavor. Unless you have no taste buds I would not recommend this place
