Ej's Pizzeria

Price for the buffet was good but too bad there was no buffett. I walked in the door with a hour left on the buffet and they only brought out 3 more small pizzas. Never brought out any more cheese bread pizza to resupply the empty one. No salad in the salad bar. Out of the three pizza's, one was gone as soon as they put it out the other 5 were just sitting there because nobody wanted them. If you want the buffet, better get here as soon as they start serving. Would have asked for more but they came out several times, looked at the buffet and salad bar (or lack thereof) and never did anything so asking would have done absolutely nothing. At least the refill on drinks never ran out. I stayed for the whole hour remaining and never saw them bring another thing out except for those 3 pizzas. Those pizzas came out around 12:30. I understand if there is nobody in the dining area, but there were about 8 people waiting for more.

Ordered on a Friday evening, by phone, for take out. Was told it would be an hour wait, which I thought was a little excessive but I was ok with waiting that long. Ended up being 1 hour and 40 minutes for a large Chicago style pizza, garlic cheese bread, and a side salad. If I would've known it was going to be that long, I would not have ordered. There were many customers in the parking lot with me waiting for their food. I understand being busy, especially during this pandemic, and I know they're trying but, I would hope they could get this dialed in a little bit better! Pizza was good but it didn't seem to live up to it's motto, "Home of the heavy toppings"! I'll be back just not for a while!
