Long John Silver's / Taco Bell

Awful! LJS has been my favorite fast food for 45 years. It is so difficult to find locations anymore. And they are always special trips. Sun dried field mice and straw would have been better than this old, overcooked, hard as a rock chicken fish and fries meal. I would have waited for them to cook fresh instead of reheating pieces that must have been prepared hours or even days earlier. I will be reporting to corporate.

The fish and shrimp I ordered were soaked with cooking oil, and the only flavor they had was that which comes from a dip in a dirty fryer. Even slathering it with cocktail sauce didn't make it edible. After a few bites I couldn't continue. On a positive note, the Taco Bell items we ordered were very good. No issues there at all. The staff was pleasant enough, but the tables were dirty and I had to clean one myself in order to have a place to sit and eat our meal. I'll likely return if I'm in the area, but I'll be avoiding the Long John Silver's portion of the menu altogether.
