Yours Truly Restaurant Hudson

Decided to try this place after over a year of not going. We had a horrid experience (no exaggeration, like watched my parents get laughed at for being served raw food) and didn’t come back because it put a bad taste in my mouth, and our family originally had gone there almost every weekend for YEARS. We went today and I had the same waitress that we originally had a very bad experience with a long time ago, and was a little put off by the fact the table next to us was getting an apology for their experience and gift card. Nonetheless, I figured we’d try it again. I ordered blueberry pancakes that my waitress forgot hadn’t the manager reminded her that my order was incorrect. I waited for my side of hash browns which came out a SOLID brick of overcooked mess. The picture below is after I stabbed it with a fork a bunch of times. I didn’t say anything and paid for my meal. However after seeing that my side was literally 5.00, I just wanted to possibly have it remade since I really wanted hash browns. I flagged down the white older male gentleman who seemed to be a manager. He comes to the table and I asked him if he was, he said “sometimes”. I said that I couldn’t eat my hash browns and he asked what was wrong with them….sir they are INEDIBLE. You cannot tell me that hash browns are supposed to look like that lol. He had them remade for me but I’m not sure why the waitress chose to bring them out to the table in the first place. Moral of the story is: it’s not worth it. The restaurant may look fancy but it’s the same mediocre food, with raised prices? 6.60 for two black coffees is a little strange, especially since places like First Watch have cheaper priced coffee that actually has flavor to it. For two people, that’s 40.00 of my life that I will never get back.

SAT Date Night!!! 1st time here. Arrived @ 6 when it was very busy. No wait and they seemed to be handling smoothly. Drinks were all fantastic, especially Halle's Berry's, bartender was fantastic. Burger was cooked perfect and was delicious. And those jazzed up potatoes were awesome. Arrived last minute and very hungry. Left full, and very happy and understand why this place is so popular. Cheers YTR!!!

Yummy food! Good atmosphere and wonderful staff. I loved the eggs bruschetta that I got (with the eggs over easy). I also got a side of hash browns, which was a delicious compliment. My only complaint is that the nitro cold brew is not quite what I expected. It tasted sour and off putting. Even the cream foam on top did not taste good because it was also somewhat sour. (We did get extra cold foam on the side however, and that tasted delicious). I have seen other reviews of people that liked the cold brew, so it may just have been my party’s personal taste, but none of the three of us liked it. Otherwise, great time with good food!

Just reopened this location after a remodel. Very nice looking inside but a bit loud with all the hard surfaces that do not dull the sound. Had breakfast here on Thursday morning. Waitress was very attentive and fast. Table was clean. I had hash browns and toast. Came out warm and was tasty. Good standard breakfast food.

Definitely surprised at the new look at Yours Truly since they re-opened. It has an industrial design look now, a completely different look than the charming wooden interior and booths of the former Yours Truly. While I have always liked the retro tables they now have (my great aunt and uncle had one in their home), the entire inside of the new restaurant is wide open and has a cafeteria like atmosphere. It had been awhile since I had eaten at the old Yours Truly, but the menu prices seem to have increased quite a bit. I only had a bowl of Italian wedding soup which had good flavor. The Locust Bar is at the front of the establishment as soon as you walk in, however, we only sat in the restaurant area.

Great service, same menu, new atmosphere. We dined with a party of 9, and we were served quickly and efficiently. Food came out hot. The place has been remodeled, and I'm not sure of the atmosphere. I sorta like the open kitchen feel, but the rest of the decor is oddly eclectic. Same old menu though. Not a bad thing.
