Amaia Martini Bar

Not bad for tapas. I don't drink but the server made sure I had plenty of water with my friends. Staff was fast and friendly. I was annoyed there was some guy taking pictures (3/30/17) without asking. Kind of rude if you ask me but they didn't ask. I got the poutine fries with brisket and calamari. Medium sized portions, fair pricing, food came out a little slow. One of our guys got his fries a good 20 minutes before the rest of us. My friends said her steak was cooked right but the sauce could have been better. Kind of seemed like the kitchen was unprepared for a largish party (about 8 of us). Other than that, very nice atmosphere, quiet, quaint, and friendly will definitely go again.

The food, I'll grant you, was good. The hygienic and operational attention to detail were sorely lacking to the point of not making it worth going back. Sticky tables, dirty silverware, and lipstick on my wine glass. A mechanical issue in the kitchen meant half of the tapas were unavailable, including things I'd planned to order, having perused the menu earlier in the afternoon On Tuesdays, burgers and a glass of wine or bottle of beer is $15. We all ordered burgers, and no one was offered anything. I ordered a glass of wine anyway, and on the receipt, not only was the burger $18, even though a la carte on the menu on any other night it's only $16, the glass of wine was itemized separately for $10. I asked our server (politely of course) to correct for it, and while the wine came off the burger still came back as $18. We decided to just give up and eat the overcharge. My advice? Patronize another establishment - downtown Hudson has plenty to choose from where I'll bet they care enough about their clientele to get these things right.

This is not a bad place, just depends why you go there, with whom you go there. If you want to eat a good dinner at a reasonable price and not experiment with exotic overpriced bite sized whatever for the sake of showing off how cool you are, then just go eat somewhere else. However your use case may be different :) Drinks were good, and we probably missed the live music event, but at least we could talk at the table then.

Excellent food. Creative with classical flavor profiles. 2 apps here will rival any restaurants entrees in the area. I bring folks often, and they are always excited about their experience.. Martinis solid. Made with care. A bit cold feeling. Has a smell of cleaning chemicals. That is a bit overpowering. But worth the trip

Have been here at least 10+ times and the service was fine. The food was great. THIS IS NORMALLY A GREAT RESTAURANT. However, this rating is due to a single bad experience that caused my family and I to wait over an hour for food. After finally receiving our food (slowly, over a period of about 20 mins) we asked to see a manager, and waited over a half hour for the manager to come to the table. The waitress didn't even admit to making a simple mistake. The manager didn't come, and we paid the bill anyway. Ridiculous. Normally we try to be accomodating, but this was outstanding.

I went here with my husband for the first time and it was very delightful and classy we had a nice time . The waitress was very attentive and friendly. The lobster quesadilla loved and steak and cheese deep with chips absolutely delicious. I recommend this place, drinks also on point...

The cocktail was good but i was disappointed in the ambience. I expected something a bit more up market, instead i thought it a little tacky... Big screen TVs, bland disco music in the background. Bit pricey as well, $12 cocktail if i recall correctly. Seemed busy enough so i guess depends what you are looking for.
