The Honey Baked Ham Company

Just days before Thanksgiving and there was a line that crossed a few other shops. I figured that I'm already here so I'll just wait and thought it would take a really long time. Well, I was surprised to be so wrong. There was a really nice lady at the door keeping people up to speed with how things were running. She would let one person in as one person left from the other door. She was in good spirits and delightfully chatty with the customers in line. The line moved smoother and faster than expected. The young lady would call out every now and then and ask if anyone was waiting in line that had prepaid and would shuffle them through because the bulk of the transaction had already taken place so that helped keep the line moving and saved people time. I'll remember that next time. Once inside, everything continued to flow smoothly. The staff were all in a good mood and very polite. My experience was quick and simple and way better than what I've grown to expect these day.

Purchased a ham a few days ago. The ham was not of good quality. The ham was dry, dark, and looked as though it had been sold past the expiration date. The owner/manager was not helpful and denied any responsibility for the low-quality product. In fact, I was blamed!?!? I know that mistakes can happen, but when the staff is rude, I'm going to speak out and let others know. I had lunch at a restaurant a few doors down and they told me that the owner has a bad attitude and is confrontational. Should one of their customers park in front of the honey baked ham storefront, they come down and demand that the customer move their vehicle. I get it. A nasty attitude plus a nasty person adds up to a nasty manager/owner. For me, I'm not going back.
