Sonic Drive-in

Tried to order the quarter pounder double cheeseburger special for $2.99, but requested it without the cheese. The person taking the order was confused and thought I was trying to order two items, and when I clarified and requested one burger without cheese, they brought me a single party cheeseburger but charged $5.22. The person who brought out the order seemed to be overwhelmed by the concept of trying to fix the situation, so we let it go. However, the service was pretty fast and fairly polite, and the burger was above average.

I got to tell you this is a new Sonic and people may not know where it's at it's right down the street from Dairy Queen and directly across the street from Village of Jackson Creek which I suggest not going to. Sonic has much better ice cream and when you go from a blizzard to what Sonic has you'll never go back to Dairy Queen just saying at least this ice cream at Sonic stays in the cup and it's not served up like soup. Sonic ice cream has a smooth silky texture not going back to Dairy Queen.

Besides the worker being friendly. The food wasn't too good. The way the food was bagged it was like it was just stuffed in there in a hurry. I don't see how they are so busy when it's only two cars there. That's including mine. I ordered a chili cheese Coney, and instead I had gotten it smashed. The onion rings where soggy, and where falling apart. The only thing that was great about my good was the tots.

Honestly this is my go to place anymore. The service is quick, food is great, love happy hour 1/2 price drinks. *Note to management, I think that there should be a "tip carhop" option for card payments at the drive in stalls. Seems to me that would encourage more tips for those hard working people that before debit cards made great money in tips. Maybe it is something you are working on or already have in place but I can't tell.* Overall, great place to grab some quick fantastic food.
