Dairy Queen Grill & Chill

Haven't had DQ in a while so I thought I'd hit the drive through. Received half a container of soggy fries on a medium meal and 2 patties that are half the size of the bun. This is not to mention that the teller didn't actually put the lid on my drink which then spilled when he handed it to me... At least they were fast, but I don't think I'll be going back. Not worth the price.

DQ has sort of fallen from grace since the 90's, and sadly this newer location in a nice part of town is somehow no different. The icecream is still pretty good, and the good news virtually stops there. Most of the time they won't even flip the cup over to show you the DQ thickness test (which used to be free if they forgot), and the mix ins can be done poorly most of the time. The food is pretty bottom of the barrel. I will give them some props though for the cheese curds being better than I would have guessed and for having white gravy as a dipping sauce for tenders. It's hard to come by places that offer white gravy, so I'll take it where I can find it.

Normally my husband and I look forward to getting a treat on Saturdays, we love their ice cream but they must have changed management or got new workers because 3 times in a row they got our order either wrong or the blizzard was half melted before we got it! When paying nearly 12.00 for 2 med blizzards it would be nice to get what we ordered and not melted ice cream. If I wanted a shake I would have ordered that! 🤷‍♀️ Update! We decided to give it another shot and the order was worse than the 3 times before. My husband completed going through the drive thru and decided to park and take the half melted blizzard inside to show them this was not acceptable! They are suppose to be able to turn it upside down before giving it to you but I've noticed they don't do that anymore simply because it would pour out! When my husband showed them and was obviously irritated they just made excuses! We will not return!!!! They won't get our business anymore!

My order was given to the customer in the car in front of me. Then the DQ employee tried to give me the blizzard after the other customer had it in their hand and car. Disgusting customer service. The manager and assistant manager need training in order to train the other staff. The manager tried to get smart with me. If you want good and clean customer service, I would not recommend this location. We are still in a pandemic!
