I didn't know this ahead of time, so I'm hoping to help you out.
I've had many doughnuts in my life, but I've never tasted any better than the ones @ Long's Bakery.
If you don't want to take my word for it, look who was parked front and center, lol
I went at an off hour, and they were still busy. The product still tasted phenomenal.
Staff was super nice, and the line moved quickly.

I don't think there's ever been a time I've been disappointed with Long's. Absolutely the best donuts in town, service is always swift & friendly. Love, love, LOVE this place!!

I am so thankful that my family slept in and the you fine people of Google let me here. I love a good doughnut and these were not over-hyped. Everyone was ordering Glazed and cinnamon holes ... so I did too. (When in Rome...) They were delicious and the service was good.

I have been told to go here by MANY. And WOW I am glad I did. For serving up classic donuts overall (mostly yeast but also some cake options), they have mastered the classics! So many favorites. The classic glazed (you have to ask for as they are in the back), the cinnamon fry / apple fry, the "donut holes" that are like a 6-pack pushed together into one donut, the left area has others like bavarian cream. ALL of what I listed was top notch. Buttery, melts in your mouth, perfection.

An Indianapolis staple. They are CASH ONLY! I believe this is to keep the cost down. These are some of the best and cheapest donuts in Indy. The yeast is my favorite. I also love the Carmel covered cream filled, apple fries, and pecan rolls. Made fresh and delicious. Local and family owned.
