I like to keep my food review short and simple and very honest! Few words to describe Lazeez grill - very authentic cuisine - chicken shawarma is 10/10 - spicy gyro is a 10/10 - very friendly staff!! Overall, this is a go to spot for your Mediterranean craving! Their French fries and hummus are incredible!!!

This place used to be a full service and that was using the term generously. Table service was slow and lunch would take 1.5 hours. Looks like recently they redesigned the interior to counter service and now I would say it's a great lunch place! Food is still great. Gyro is awesome as always and fries were battered and amazingly crispy and delicious. Highly recommend it now!

Nice to have outdoor seating on a spring day. Location is good, but my hunch is that most business is takeaway. If you are looking for a bustling place, this may not be the best choice. My husband and I visited here once before in the winter and experienced delicious sage tea, and I was sad to learn it wasn't available today. Not sure if it is only available in winter, but I'd love to see it all year 'round. I've not been able to recreate the exact taste at home despite my best efforts. I had the Greek fries (amazing! truly flavorful and cooked well. Don't use ketchup and ruin the herby, lemony goodness!) and the half falafel (also very good). I was so full after the fries that i couldn't finish my pita bread, but I ate all of the falafel. Overall an enjoyable quick dinner for one. I was disheartened to see so many people in the area spending lots of money at nearby chain restaurants when one can get nice flavor and great food while supporting small local business at a place like Ali Baba's. I can't validate the other reviewer's experiences with wait staff, as my waiter was attentive, timely, helpful, and professional at all times. Excellent service, good food, and dinner for $10.00. If it wasn't so late in the evening, I'd have liked to try the Turkish coffee. Next time.

One of my favorite places to eat. Great for lunch, dinner, or carryout. My personal favorite is the spicy gyros, which are the best in Indy. The regular gyros and the chicken shwarma are good as well. I've had good and bad experiences with the hummus, but I'd say overall they were good. Definitely check this place out if you like Greek/Mediterranean food.
