Tried & True Alehouse

We love coming to Tried & True Alehouse. The atmosphere is fantastic and we love the outdoor seating. I love the decor and the food is fantastic. We love to split the pretzel skewes with the beer cheese and huge tray of southwest chicken nachos, but their wings are really good too! We love celebrating family birthdays here and sharing the large cookie with ice cream.

We tried this place for carryout on a Monday night. We'd never been before but it always sounded yummy. In an (extra) effort to support local restaurants we opted for something new and I'm so glad we did! My hubby had the boneless wings (spicy teriyaki) with fries and I had the alehouse burger (classic) with fries. I worried about ordering their crispy seasoned fries as the menu said they weren't recommend for carryout. We still ordered them and really enjoyed them - especially dipped in the burger sauce! 😋 Highly recommend and we will be eating there again soon! I'm excited to try their wraps, tenderloin and the chicken and waffle skewers - yum. 🤤 I can only recommend that they improve the ease of carryout order pickup (or consider curb delivery) and offer a food special on Monday evening. Also, I had difficulty finding the dinner specials and think they warrant a menu of their own.

We absolutely love coming to the north side location! Live music when available, great food and awesome staff! It is my first choice for a Friday night..... friends, neighbors, dogs on the patio, good food, wine and fantastic staff! I'm so looking forward to more of these nights,, thank you guys for coming to our spot!

Juicy Grilled Chicken Breast and a VERY THICK FISH SANDWICH!!!!!! YUMMMMM!!!!!! The onion rings were PERFECT! Nothing was greasy or heavily battered. The broccoli was also perfect, not too crunchy and definitely not mushy. We were popping thru from out of town. This place is a gem for this area!!!!! Everyone there had a smile on their face and the service was great!!!!!! That fish sandwich on the Brioche Bun was the best I have had!!!!!!

My partner and I got a chance to play acoustic dinner music on their patio recently. They’ve started doing acoustic music on the all ages patio every Sunday starting at 6:00pm and some Friday’s as well. They offer a wide bar oof food and it’s all FROM SCRATCH. It is definitely something I look forward to again. They have a family dining room area separate from the bar area where KIDS EAT FREE on Tuesdays. The staff is attentive, friendly and SO helpful. We were able to meet the owners who stopped over to talk to us, that means so much. This place, the food, the atmosphere and the people are worth our support. Please go and check it out. You’ll be glad you did because it’s great! I can’t wait to play there again.

Great food. We tried the buffalo dip and chips, beef tips and mac, crispy brussel sprouts and chicken n waffle bites. 1. Beef tips and mac were ok (to go order they prepare them separately) .. nothing special. 2. Buffalo dip was very good and not too tangy like some, mild in flavor but definitely worth it! The chips have seasoning, which is always a plus!!! Crispy seasoned brussel sprouts were so awesome...definitely a favorite with or without the sauce. No bitterness in them. The chicken and waffle bites were also a big hit... very unique and the sauce was super good. They have a light waffle batter on them... slightly sweet but not even close to too much! Perfect!!!! Almost better than boneless wings. We would order all but the beef tips and mac again and try new stuff. See pictures!!
