Basey's Downtown Grill & Spirits

Just came from the tavern next door where food was over priced and underwhelming so I googled and found this place... I am extremely happy with my choice I was looking for a dive bar to serve me reasonably priced food and a bartender who would crack jokes at me... this is the place! I read reviews about advertisements about strip joints...that’s false probably some Karen of a woman upset over nothing I’m including a pic to prove my point. The bartender who also made my food on a Monday night made us feel welcome and made us great food. Don’t let the appearance fool you this is where you wanna be.

Baseys blue color might be a bit off-putting from the outside but the staff is very friendly and the food is surprisingly delicious. I had a great veggie pizza one night and the next night had some top tier chicken tenders. The beers are reasonably priced for downtown Indianapolis. I highly recommend this place if it's fairly late at night and don't want to spend too much money.

Such a great place to getaway from the franchise ordinary and enjoy some of Indy's locals in a food porn level eatery... The menu is fun, special event menu is specific to this cool place, and the pizza is always on point. Today I grabbed the pretzel sticks and absolutely incredible cheese sticks... and wow it spoke volumes of the type of food here. The others with me picked the Macho Nachos and Grilled Chicken Nacho and let me tell you, thats a large portion to make you want to come back for the affordable prices... I recommend a trip to Basey's for atmosphere, food, and diverse menu!!!
