Qdoba Mexican Eats

Having never been to Qdoba before, I had no idea how good or bad the experience would be. However, after having a great meal and being treated so kindly and with patience by the workers here at this Qdoba, I’ll have to come back here again. I entered the restaurant within an hour of closing, and they had already begun their cleaning duties for closing. The worker who would prepare my food looked up from wiping down the counter and greeted me with a loud but enthusiastic “Welcome to Qdoba”, which seemed like company policy but he made it feel homely like I was being greeted by an old friend. Before I told him what I wanted in my chicken bowl, he told me that they were out of white rice, just to make sure that I would be ok with continuing my order. Afterward, I got to choose my veggie and salsa toppings, and when I mistakenly called the jalapeño salsa another name, he informed me of my mistake and said that it was alright. To show that I was unfamiliar with the establishment, I told him that it was my first time coming here, to which he proceeded to give me a slightly larger portion of the jalapeño salsa. This simple act of kindness is what drew me to write this review. It showed that great food service is still alive and well in our community and that workers like him should be treated with respect and dignity at their place of work. After my order was wrapped, I paid, turned around, and walked out of the building with a big smile on my face. If I could go back in time and choose to get Qdoba for the first time again, I would only go to this location. If I could rate it higher than 5 stars, I would. Amazing service, and even greater food. I’ll be back hungry for more.
