World Of Beer

We stopped by here for a quick drink before heading out. We managed to grab some seats at the bar as it was quite packed. This was like any other World of Beer I've been to in the past. There was nothing exceptional about visiting here. One thing I did like is the quick service and friendliness. I ended up going to the bathroom here which is a bit of a walk away but was well-maintained.

Surprisingly tasty food including Buffalo wings and the Cali bowl! Could have had more shrimp but still was great. I also enjoyed their non alcoholic beer. Always seems to be busy, but still had some tables for people to eat at. Many people come here to get beers to go. Please note that the food closes at 10 PM and if you sit outside you have to get your own food/drinks from inside.

The food was pretty good. But honestly, do not come here for the food. Come here for the beer and maybe an appetizer to share. They have beens from everywhere. I had a Left Hand White Stout Nitro and the Pax Verum Stout. Both were very good. The loaded tater tots were nothing too great, but still good and my wife had the buffalo chicken sandwich, which was pretty good, but seriously come for the beer.

4 Star Review: Came back and it has improved greatly. Service was much better, but draft beer selection is still lacking for a place with its namesake. (Prior 3 Star Review) Food was pretty good, though the hummus appetizer was pretty small. For being called World of Beer, I was pretty disappointed by the draft selection (and from that small list they were out of 4 of them). Probably a 4-5 star place for pub food, but the service was slow: on a Sunday night it took us 20 minutes to get water, and another 5 minutes to get the beers we ordered when we sat down. Only go if you are not in a hurry.

The basment area we rented out was nice and our bartender Billy way great. The appetizers were delicious especially the large pretzel and beer cheese. Yum! Only complaint is my tacos came to me cold but I was hungry and they were pretty okay and it was Taco Tuesday they were on special so.. Still give you 5 stars. Thanks
