Food: Amazing! We had the Wednesday buffet. There was so much variety. No worries about germs or sickness because they serve you. Come back as much as you want. Everything was yummy! We will be coming back! Service: The waitress was very attentive, always refilling our drink and removing dirty buffet plates. Atmosphere: Lots of wood in the construction. It looked like we entered an old German Pub. Very clean. There was indoor and outdoor seating available.

This is truly a hidden gem! They have a dance group anyone can join; it's been very fun! Wednesdays at 7PM, except for the 2nd Wednesday each month. I had literally no dance background, but this is folk dancing, so that's fine 😁 Edelweiss is located in German Park at the end of the drive. The park itself isn't anything major, but the scenery is very nice. Once at the parking lot, you can go in the main entrance and down the stairs to the restaurant or follow the sidewalk north of the building where it slopes down and around the building to their outdoor seating. You can see a gnome garden along the way! I've seen comments saying this place isn't handicap accessible, but this sidewalk is the entrance to take if you have difficulties walking or stroller. Understandably, this will be inconvenient if it is raining. The outdoor seating is the beer garden area and the doors lead into the restaurant. On Wednesdays there is a buffet. I'm writing this review after a stop at their buffet and I'm impressed. On Fridays they have live music; simply amazing fun! They have several events through the year and I definitely recommend checking them out! Frühlingsfest, Jägerfest, Octoberfest and more!

I cannot say enough good things about this semi-hidden gem. The food is phenomenal. I mean really.... PHENOMENAL. The atmosphere is quiet but still maintains the cultural German feel. The waitress we had tonight (I didn't catch her name, but it was 8/1/23 PM, and she was blonde) was great and suggested some pretty great recommendations based on what we had told her we liked traditionally. She was super friendly, and accomodating. Parking was easy to arrange. All in all, an awesome time. ♡♡
