The Boiling Southside

This place is the bees knees for snow crab!! I got the three combines sauces and it was INSANELY good. The grab was juicy and the corn was spiced to perfection!!!! If you’re like me you hate sea food taste but I’ve found if you get the correct taste in the sauce you don’t taste it it’s perfect for picky eaters like me!!!

The seafood was wonderful. The service was good. Prices were reasonable for the food and portion sizes. The owner told me that her help had not showed up that evening, as so many other places are having issues with right now. Why is it that all the great places are having issues getting and keeping good employees right now? Oh yeah, the government is providing an incentive not to work.

Wow this was my lucky day. Just happened to be driving by and see this place. Went in for lunch and Mae greeted me. She went on to explain the history of the restaurant and shared her recommendations. I had the shrimp in house sauce and a catfish po boy. The shrimp was amazing, nice large shell on shrimp was served in the house sauce (Cajun and lemon garlic butter) and came with a potato and corn on the cob. The sauce was extraordinary! The catfish po boy was really good as well although I couldn't eat all of it due to the amount of shrimp I had! Definitely make a trip to the south side and try this place.
