Morty's Comedy Joint

Saw Joel McHale here on March 23rd. Sat on the balcony level. Service was decent. Food was ok. The show was hilarious. From the balcony it looked like there wasn't a bad seat in the house. Got there early and sat in the party deck. Don't let the name fool you, there was no party. However, we did get seated first.

Had a great time! They played off the old Don Pablo’s vibe which was funny, and the shows we saw have always been enjoyable. Food is pretty good, but not great, so you’re not missing out if you only get drinks. Service was prompt and kind. Slightly overpriced but drinks were strong so not complaining!

I would give it 5 stars but the seating is very strange. You share your table with other people and are already sandwiched in between other tables. Food is good though.. wings are to die for. They have a good variety of food not just Mexican, they also offer burgers and such. The comedians were funny and very entertaining. I will go back but next time I'll pay the little extra for priority seating. These seats are on the right and left of the stage and you have a little more room.

Morty's was great! On this visit we saw Dan Cummins and he killed it with a bunch of new material and one or two great throwbacks. After the show we were able to catch up with him and that was awesome! Definitely plan on coming back to Morty's in the future. The venue has great views from every seat and the menu has a lot to choose from.

Great place for comedy. I like that they do first come first serve seating, and they are pretty accommodating for picking specific sections. I recommend the burrito bowl, cause it is amazing, and the fish and chips, chicken fingers, all the menu items are pretty exceptional. They do have two item minimum like most comedy clubs, but it is "Items" so not drinks, which is great. I recommend the Wednesday open mics, cause sometimes a professional comic or two will drop in to work on new material, and it's just fun to watch. Sometimes you get a train wreck or two, which is a beautiful disaster, but most of the time you get some great laughs. Also, will say that Morty's seats are pretty comfortable. Great place!

I thought it was a pretty good experience, it was amateur stand up night they did a contest for a prize. I didn't care for the fact that the least funny person (seriously she was horrible) won because half the audience was family of hers. besides the unfairness of the competition and the drinks (just soda) costing $4.00 I had a pretty good time; would go back and recommend to anyone stopping in to see what they have going on. they do host bigger named comedians just costs a bit more

Really enjoyed the comedy show we went to last night. No bad seats, which we appreciated as we've been to other places where seeing the stage was difficult. Service was pretty decent though it could have been better. They are actively hiring so they are aware of this issue. For the prices the drinks could have been stronger. All around an enjoyable night, and we're likely to go back.
