I’ve tried different food from the east coast to the Midwest and this place is awesome. I really couldn’t make up my mind on what I wanted so I got a little bit of everything. Ribs, brisket, pulled pork, Mac and cheese, and yams. I was a bit skeptical about the Mac and cheese after overhearing another costumers Mac wasn’t the same as the first time. But I loved it. Whenever I’m in town I will absolutely make sure that I come back for more.

Not the least expensive barbeque place I've eaten at recently but one of the better ones for sure. A sweet theme runs through the food I tried on my first visit. Picked up a1/2 slab rib dinner with 2 sides and a brisket dinner with 2 sides for my co-worker. The sauce is sweet, with a very slight heat and strong fruit flavor - pineapple at a bet - that makes it feel almost like a glaze. The candied yams were also very sweet but when I got there they were peeling the yams. The sweetness has a nice flavor - not maple syrup but maybe turbinado sugar or a touch of molasses - and doesn't completely bury the yam or cinnamon.
