Whiskey Cake Kitchen & Bar

Food was very good. Drinks were fabulous. Whiskey cake for dessert was to die for delicious. Staff was very cool and eclectic, but not very friendly. We weren't waited on for quite a while and I finally got up and grabbed a water pitcher for us myself. We made reservations online and asked for a regular table not a high top but we were seated at a high top. The decor is cool and fun. I think it would be a great place to meet friends for drinks and dessert. The place would be 5 stars if the staff could stop being too cool to speak to you and make conversation.

This has been our go to spot since moving to Dallas! Consistently great food, drinks, and service. Good for brunch, lunch, and dinner. Personal faves are the 3 little pigs (pulled pork sliders), wabbit smash for drink, and whiskey cake for dessert. Salads are pretty big and fresh. Can’t go wrong with anything here!

We really like Whiskey Cake. The food is good and the ambiance is nice. This last trip we had the deviled eggs, fried green tomatoes, a burger, tomato soup and mashed potatoes. And of course the whiskey cake! As a side note to management, the section we sat in was dirty, we moved from one table to another and both were dirty and there was food on the floor. It wasn’t just a little but really needed to be addressed. However, it’s not the norm, maybe they were understaffed that day.
