Arturo's Mexican Restaurant

We have ate here for years and it is always great to stop by when we are on this side of town. The ladies are always friendly, prompt and check on you throughout the meal. Food is fresh and served hot. Chips and salsa are on point. Restaurant is clean, prices are well with in comparison in this area, probably would even go out and say better than most. No masks required at this time.

The hubby and I Love Mexican fiod and have always seen this place but never stopped in but we both asked Where in the heck has this place been and why has it not been in our restaurant go to spots. The staff is extremely Amazing and very Friendly. Always made sure we had everything we needed. The food was extremely Awesome. I will say it's about time we found a place that has rice and refried beans that has flavor. We both normally leave both of those items on our plate because of no flavor or the only flavor you get is a mouth full of salt. I had the crispy beef tacos now the only bad part of my dinner was the taco shells were not crispy and I ended up taking the filling out and eating it with the crispy chips and salsa...lol. The ground beef filling in my tacos had a lot of flavor...my husband ordered the soft beef fajita tacos and that meat was so super soft. Just one suggestion...it would be great if any Mexican restaurant would serve the chips and salsa warm (heat wise) it is always great that way. We will definitely be back and try other items on the menu. Thanks. So I'm adding a bit more to my review...So yesterday 09/18/2021 we visited for my hubbys 66th Birthday and we brought his Sister there for her first visit since we bragged about this place so much and she lives within walking distance. First the young man working there (Super Awesome nice like all the staff) ran and opened the door for us and found a table to accommodate for us since she was in a wheelchair and he had a rollator and I use a cane. Service was fast and the food was hot and AMAZING as usual. My sister in law feel in love with Arturos and they didn't disappoint. She said we would definitely be back and if she could she would be there everyday and wished they would deliver to her since she would be ordering everyday...LOL. New satisfied customer. My husband was happy to have spent his birthday in a great place with great food. Thanks.

My family and friends has been going here for years until last week when me my 4 boys and a Friend went and the waitress was a little on the rude side, the food was ok, but what really got me was she charged us gratuity. I've never been charged that before and we've gone in there with more people in our group. We all ate off the lunch menu. So it really hit when the tip was more than our meal was. And my friend's was the same way. I'm sorry to say I don't know if it was posted anywhere. But i will never be back. They lost a lot of customer's that day.

Haven't been there in a while I remember the portions were good for the price now prices high low portions. Do not order the chimicanga it was small had hardly any meat in it . It was filled with little meat and pico but it already has pico as a side why add more inside to make the chimi look big. I am very disappointed I will never go back again.

I Googled mexican food near me. This place online said 4 stars and the price was different. Get there they gave us chips y "salsa" it tasted like ketchup. We got caldo de 🍤 they used frozen vegetables in it. 🥦 y Cauliflower who put that in a caldo. The breaded shrimp 🍤 had no flavor y mostly breading. The rice had no flavor. We asked for una lemonade thinking it's going to be fresh y was made with the powder like kool-aid. The prices were expensive. The waitress only gave us 3 small limes for 4 people. Also she counted 74$ on our check and told the other girl to double check and it was almost 10$ more.

Don't get me wrong. The food here is always great and for the past two years or so i've always had the sweetest servers ever. I always get the flautas off the lunch menu, it's my favorite plate from here. It wasn't until today that i passed by for lunch that I was charged extra for asking for sour cream on my flautas even though it's ALWAYS been included on the plate. the lady didn't even care she just said "well we charge for it.. sorry" like i've been coming here for years now bruh lol how you gonna tell me, not to mention she took her sweet time to check us out, we just ended up going to the register to ask about the charge. hope it was worth it y'all lost a good customer for $2 🤗

Go to Villa Grande Mexican restaurant because this place is a joke! They charge extra for EVERYTHING... literally! even to substitute sauces ??? The other day they charged us an extra $3 for sour cream for some flautas that are supposed to have sour cream!!! what kind of flautas don't come with sour cream LOL honestly there are better mexican restaurants than this place. For example Villa Grande Mexican restaurant, they have everything arturo's has but better. Better food, better prices and a great atmosphere!! ooo and the flautas actually come with sour cream!!!! and don't charge an extra $3 like arturo's does :|
