Southern Junction Texas

Ya know, from the outside, Southern Junction doesn’t look like much; but when you enter the building, you’re blown away. It’s clean, and sounds great. Bar tenders are very friendly and everyone is welcoming. Southern Junction definitely promotes and exemplifies southern hospitality and we will definitely be coming back! Great crowd. Excellent food. Like restaurant quality. Like seriously, the food is worth the trip itself. Ambience is a western saloon. Bring your cameras. And it's not too dark or shadowy. All in all, if you are looking for a descent venue to mingle and not be hassled by a blithering idiot or a drunk bimbo

This is a pretty big place with a great size dance floor. They had a DJ the night we went. They are just starting back to having events since COVID restrictions have loosened. The DJ played all country music with a lot of progressive 2step beats. Some west coast as well. Most dancers followed dance etiquette. The bar staff was helpful and the drinks were fine. The decor is dated but adds to the classic ambiance. They did have a small selection of brisket tacos and brisket sandwich and it was not good. The bread was old and the tortillas were stale. Meat was okay. The other patrons were having a good time and enjoyable company to be around.
