Top Pot Doughnuts

The doughnuts are very lackluster and they take about 5 minutes per order in the drive thru. (Like I can't imagine what's so hard about making a coffee and throwing a donut in a bag). So if you have cars in front of you in line, you'd better have a great instagram to scroll through or a pillow for a power nap. Their location is cool though so I'm giving them a star.

Normally going to top pot is a pretty fun experience. This time I had three cars in front of me and it took over 15 minutes to get helped. The sign had a lot of stickers over it with pricing changes which would be fine on its own. When I got to the front they said they didn't even carry some of the things that were on the menu and explained to me that of the three sandwiches listed, only one was normally available but they were out of it that day. Seems strange to have a menu that is so infrequently updated that items that they don't even carry would be on it permanently. Also it's fine to update your prices and menu items but it's best to do it in a way that's clear to customers while they're waiting to be helped. Overall, the customer experience could be here improved as well as the signage. It was disappointing to wait in line for so long just to find out they never carried the items on the sign.

I stay at the Marriott Springhill suites across the street from Top Pot. I had eaten there today. Their coffee is great. But their donuts are a whole new level. I had 2 donuts. A chocolate bar which was huge. And a double devils food chocolate. Both were outstanding. The staff was super friendly. They are a bit more expensive than a normal national brand shop, but who cares? Of you don't eat donuts everyday you should splurge for the very best. This will be my new morning stop for the future.

Stayed at the hotel next door. Decided to check out the donut place next door. Drive through was busy. We walked in and they were all wearing masks and super friendly. Gave us suggestions on their favorites and told us what the different kinds were. I had the lemon glazed old fashioned and it was the perfect amount of lemon. Not too sugary or sweet. My son loved the raspberry old fashioned. I would definitely recommend this shop.

First time coming here and the staff was kind enough to greet us at the drive through window but we told her that it was our first time, so she let us came in to pick and choose for our dozen doughnuts. Their Maple bar is so HUGE I couldn't finish it myself. My boyfriend tried the coffee and he said that the coffee is smooth and tasty. Will definitely try this again!
