I took some friends from out of town here and we all enjoyed it immensely. I loved the ambience and decor. I liked being able to see into the expansive and clean-looking kitchen where the staff looked busy but not stressed. The service was extremely attentive and the food was exquisite. We had some bread and a fig salad for entrees - the fig salad was absolutely melt-in-your-mouth divine. My friends had the barramundi and loved it. I got the pumpkin ravioli and couldn't stop raving about it for days. Next time, I'll make sure to leave room for dessert because the dessert menu looked great. I highly recommend this place for a fine dining experience.

This is constructive criticism, I would not go back to this restaurant or recommend there food. I came here a few years ago and the food was good but after tonight I’m happy to say I won’t come back, after receiving pretty overpriced food, having a $55 steak under cooked and then asked to pay extra for garlic butter that was just warm butter with a few slices of cut up garlic. The food itself isn’t very flavourful and I wouldn’t recommend the food with this price tag.

One of the best Italian meals we have had in a long time with service to suit. We wandered in here tonight for dinner and whilst the menu feels somewhat confused with a mix between Italian and Asian with a huge amount to choose from each dish we had we couldn’t fault. I highly recommend the Wagyu Dumplings and seafood marinara.

Firstly, I've been going to this restaurant since I was a kid. I've seen it change and develop. It has for years always had some of the most deliciously made pasta dishes. For an establishment in Ivanhoe, prices have to be somewhat on the higher side. I think prices have increased since my last visit. I went again recently and found that from the last time I visited which was only last year that the menu has changed quite a bit. It's nearly morphing into South East Asian cuisine and Italian. Myself my brother-in-law Mark, sister-in-law Ivanka and wife Mandy all were excited to go. We were there last night. The only issue was that both myself Mark and Ivanka all wanted the pasta marinara. Unfortunately, though they only serve six servings of marinara per night, which I found ridiculous and it infuriated my poor sister-in-law because she had been talking about it all week. It's sad that a restaurant with such a huge menu can't accommodate for more than six servings of marinara, which I'd say would be one of the favourites at this Ivanhoe establishment. The other dishes we had were still nice and staff are kind. Just very upset because I feel they're moving away from what they did best, Italian food.

We had a family dinner for 4 people. The food as usual was fantastic - two of us had the seafood marinara and it was just as good as in the past, the rockling seafood special and the gnocchi was excellent. Entrees of lamb croquettes and tuna carpaccio was super. The serving crew was super efficient but over zealous. Twice during the meal they came to remove crockery when we were still eating and foods were still on the plates - I actually did ask if the kitchen was short of crockery. Apart from this we can’t fault the place and will be back.
