The Bulldog

First time experience was HORRIBLE, the place wasn’t even packed. I observed every waiter and customer experiences. A few people walked out as I observed the attitudes of the waiters. Giving the business the benefit of a doubt, it was now our turn. The appetizer was egg rolls and nachos, HORRIBLE. The egg rolls wasn’t even hot, seems as if they were just dropped in the grease and taken out. The nachos were just thrown together and seemed as if they had been sitting due to the sogginess of the chips and the cheese was matted together without any heat to them. The shrimp on the nachos WERE RAWWW, I alerted the waiter because at this point it’s unacceptable. She looked at me crazy and walked off with an attitude as we requested the manager. She literally brought the remaining of our order and said “we’re waiting on fries”. RAW SHRIMP, SHREDDED CHEESE ON A HAMBURGER, RAW BACON the list continue. Went out to try this place for the first time , horrible customer service, did not care to even apologize when I expressed myself about the service, food was made wrong then when they fixed it I didn’t even get my whole meal, did not receive everything we ordered, no refills, barely came to our table until everyone left..asked for a goodwill gesture instead they took the food off that we ordered and didn’t ask if we still wanted it. Very unprofessional and people would be more understanding if they would communicate especially if your understaffed. Serve people how you would want to be treated.

Used to regular the bulldog and always had nothing but good to say. But tonight was terrible. Service was terrible. Waited over 30 minutes until I eventually waved my waitress down to order food. She had an attitude that I waved her down. So I just asked for the check. Now I've been waiting for over 15 minutes to just pay. Unacceptable. It's not even crowded. Was there for over an hour total and only got one round of drinks. Will not be returning. Their response blames it on short staff... I immediately left bulldog and came to shuckers (which was MUCH more crowded) and I immediately got drinks and food. Also this isn't from just one bad experience. It has been two in a row. I just blamed the last bad experience on just a one time event. But it has been a sorry experience two times in a row.

The food is delicious but every single time I come, they seem understaffed and it always takes a while to even be noticed by a waiter. We usually have to call on them. And then our food takes FOREVER to come … not just entrees but also appetizers. And Unless requested the music is NOT diverse the service when we do get it is usually nice but it’s not the type of soled you want. But the atmosphere is amazing l, so proceed with caution. This place is a hit or miss. Come with lots of conversation. You will be filling your time with it.
