Chilango's Chop House

Slightly pricey but good, healthy food and it's pretty quick. It's nice to be able to go out and not feel bad about what I ate! They have lots of choices for salads and wraps. You can customize pretty much everything. They have a pretty small place so it's cozy and there are flyers up supporting the local art scene. Cool place.

Service and quality are hit or miss. When they first opened it was awesome, no denying that, but now it isn't as dependable on what you get or who you get making the food. I just came to get a salad and the lady had locked the door a good 30 minutes before closing and just looked at me as if I was crazy to try and come get food/spend money during their posted business hours. If you're giving it a shot, I'd recommend going at lunch, as there is no telling what time they decide to close at night!

Great salads and wraps, lots of options to chose from plus they always have a suggestion of the day, making it easy for when I'm not sure what to get. The only downside is that during lunch time, it gets crowded and you may be online for a while. If you are in a time crush definitely avoid lunch time. Or dont ask for a wrap as that seems to slow them down, since they have to warm up the tortilla, otherwise the salad goes straight into your bowl and you are out of there

The salads are great, service is a bit slow at lunch due to the demand. Don’t come between 11am-1pm, place is mobbed. $11 salads.... not too keen on, but the salads are amazing. Sometimes you have to splurge. Nice alternative to the grease you get around downtown. Not knocking the grease, cuz I love some greasy food, but this is very tasty. Get the Cobb with jalapeño ranch!

Amazing salads and wraps. Super friendly team behind the counter, steering choppers of said ingredients. Piled high bowl of salad. Delicious! Moderately priced. Healthy, assuming you select a reasonable salad dressing. Speaking of dressings - an incredible selection. I urge you to go for the Chipotle honey vinegarette. A catered lunch from this place would make a delicious healthy working lunch.
