I’ve went to the downtown location and the one by the natural bridge and both were great. The loaded Mac and cheese is my favorite but the loaded nachos were equally great. The portions were huge for the price. The staff was great and had us cracking up. Great environment with good music. I will always come back when I’m the areas. Wish they had a location in Ohio!

The food online looked amazing so I decided to give this place a shot. Was let down by the quality of food however. I ordered brisket with two side, waffle fries(dollar extra) and jalapeno bites(1.50 extra). The sides were okay but the brisket was nothing like what you'd expect from a BBQ joint. Was thinly sliced and extremely dry and hardly enough there to justify the money spent on it. The rub used did taste decent, but everything else lacked. I decided to give it another whirl while I was there, because I was still hungry due to lack of meat. I opted to try a hot dog with chili, cheese, slaw and mustard. Bread looked amazing but everything else was a let down on flavor. Did i mention the hotdog was almost 8 dollars.

Loved the food. Nice size portions for a great price! And we loved the server, she was so funny and pleasant, she even gave us a free dessert! And it was delicious! If we ever come back to this area we will defaintly be back again! Only thing is, I wish they still sold their doughnuts, they looked amazing!

Granted Ive been a fan of Thatchers since day 1, I have to say ive never had a dissatisfied meal. Im yet to make it to the powell county location but intend to do so soon. I currently drive from Morehead Ky to Jackson when I have the time and need my Thatchers fix. I do this to support my peeps. Support local and give back to those that give so much to the community like shawn and his wife Crystal. People take for grated having such a nice quality eatery such as thatchers. Always great food, affordable prirces and generous portions. I will continue to make that drive to enjoy shawn's food and hope that he soon opens one up here so I can save on the fuel bill!! Thank you guys for such great food and service.

The barbecue is excellent, melts in your mouth! The chili is a wonderful combination of sweet and spicy. Get a Fresh donut, put some bacon on it (or choose from 9 other toppings, and a variety of fillings and icings.) Enjoy a great cup of coffee or try some espresso! Friendly service, great environment, interesting conversation. Perfect place for a lunch with friends or a delicious dinner.
